During her first solo exhibit at Artique Underground, Marie Riccio will be
exhibiting her most recent landscape oil paintings. Riccio’s sensitivity
to her environment plays an important part in her keen perceptions of the
landscape. She orchestrates her compositions from nature as she seeks
out in-between spaces. Placing thoughtfully considered color-shapes to
create well-observed sensations of in-between spaces that draw you into
the distance is what she is after.
